Sunday's episode of "The Simpsons" paid a touching tribute to Marcia Wallace, the actress who voiced the hard-edged, chain-smoking teacher Edna Krabappel for two decades. Wallace died from complications with pneumonia at the age of 70; her character was subsequently retired.
Even Bart Simpson, her most unruly student, was at a loss for words during the opening credits, replacing his usual detention chalkboard hijinx with a simple and heartfelt, "We'll really miss you Mrs. K."
