Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign has "nothing polite to say" about Republican Donald Trump's astounding victory in winning the top office in the land.
A top adviser for Sen. Bernie Sanders told CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny, "We have nothing polite to say right now."
In the weeks leading up to the election, Sanders had barnstormed the country, warning voters of Republic presidential nominee Donald Trump's unfitness to serve as president.
Yet loyal supporters of the self-described democratic socialist were not entirely persuaded. Hacked emails of the Democratic National Committee revealed a a perceived bias for the establishment candidate Hillary Clinton.
Hate to say we told you so, but Bernie Sanders warned the Democratic Party, and it didn't listen; it sabotaged him https://t.co/vq7XGPnszd
