Colvin, the Fugees, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and host Jon Stewart. The
new "Oprah Winfrey Presents" miniseries The Wedding (9 p.m. Sun.,
ABC) is a drama about black class consciousness revolving around a
young woman (Halle Berry) from a wealthy family who is torn between two
lovers, one white and one black, in 1953 New England. Lynn Whitfield, Carl
Lumbly and Eric Thal co-star.
S P O R T S NBA: Rockets at Timberwolves (8 p.m. Fri., TNT); Rockets
at Knicks (1 p.m. Sun., NBC); Lakers at Magic (3:30 p.m. Sun.,
NBC).
S E R I E S The American Experience (check local times Fri., PBS) reruns a
profile of Richard Nixon. Barbara Walters interviews Monica Lewinsky's
father on 20/20 (10 p.m. Fri., ABC). America's Most Wanted (9
p.m. Sat., Fox) devotes the whole hour to the JonBenet Ramsey case.
Saturday Night Live (11:35 p.m. Sat., NBC) presents a tribute to
Chris Farley. On a new episode of The Simpsons (8 p.m. Sun., Fox),
Krusty the Clown seeks help from Jay Leno after bombing at a comedy
festival. Janeane Garofalo, Steven Wright and Bobcat Goldthwait also have
cameos. Chris Rock lends his soothing, melodious voice to a new episode of
King of the Hill (8:30 p.m. Sun., Fox), playing an outrageous
comedian whom Bobby idolizes. Mulder and Scully tell two different versions
of an encounter with a vampire on The X-Files (9 p.m. Sun., Fox).
The new music industry documentary series Ultrasound (10 p.m. Sun.,
MTV) looks at artists, trends and controversies, beginning with the
rise of hip-hop.
