Finally responding to complaints about his silence -- many of them from within his own party -- Vice President Dick Cheney has agreed to allow himself to be interviewed about his shooting of Harry Whittington.

The time: 2 p.m. EST today. The venue: Fox News, where Bill O'Reilly has already declared that "the vice president's hunting accident affects no one" and "means nothing."
