In an interview with AllHipHop published today, 15-year-old Pablo Dylan describes his iconic grandfather -- yes, Bob -- as "the Jay-Z of his time." (For his part, of course, Jay-Z considers himself "the new Sinatra.")
Pablo also shares some of his own work:
"[W]hat I have done, I mean from a musical and personal standpoint, is definitely influenced by [my grandfather]," he notes, acknowledging: "Of course we do two different things."
You may well struggle to pick out the influence of his famous forebear. But if nothing else, it's worth noting that Bob Dylan's album art may have proven something of an inspiration:
