Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin probably doesn't need much help getting her book, "Going Rogue: An American Story" on the bestseller lists. But just in case, she's going to be the beneficiary of an assist from one of the most powerful forces for book sales out there: Oprah Winfrey.
Palin is slated to appear on Winfrey's show on Nov. 16th, Winfrey's production company announced Tuesday. That's one day before the scheduled release of "Going Rogue."
This isn't the first time a Palin interview with Winfrey has been in the news, though it is the first time the two are actually sitting down together. During the presidential campaign last year, Matt Drudge ran a story claiming that Winfrey's staff was divided about whether or not to have Palin on before the election. Winfrey denied the story, which seemed aimed at pressuring the host to have the then-Republican vice presidential candidate on, as such an appearance could have benefited the McCain campaign.
