WASHINGTON -- President Obama's two meetings on healthcare reform with House Democrats (first with liberals, then with moderates) just wrapped up. The progressive lawmakers left the White House without talking to the press. But the moderates -- who also left in a hurry, to make a vote on the House floor -- say the bill is on track.
"When all is said and done, we will have the votes to pass healthcare reform," said Rep. Joe Crowley, D-N.Y., chairman of the New Democrat Coalition.
