Deputy Breaking News Editor

We’re looking for a Deputy Breaking News Editor to add to our news team — someone deeply plugged into the news cycle who understands the characters, narratives, and essential information that our politics-savvy audience needs. This full-time, remote position will be a hybrid role: assigning and editing daily news coverage on the fly, jumping in to write up a quick news post, and packaging content for a progressive audience. You'll work with fledgling reporters to develop pitches and help guide them through reporting. This position will also be part of the daily newsletter editing team. Learn more and apply for this role.
