Your "anti-America" is my campaign finance bonanza

Hint to Republicans running for office in 2008: Maybe you should think twice before going on national television and ranting about "anti-American" Democrats. As has been documented here, there and everywhere across the political blogosphere, Rep. Michelle Bachman, R-Minn., channeled Sen. Joe McCarthy on "Hardball" Friday night and called for the media to do a "penetrating exposé" of "the views of the people in Congress and find out, are they pro-America or anti-America?"

Bachman has a well-deserved reputation for extreme religious right-wing antics:

If you're involved in the gay and lesbian lifestyle, it's bondage. It is personal bondage, personal despair and personal enslavement.

So how 'bout that appearance on "Hardball"? In the 24 hours since, her Democratic opponent, Elwyn Tinklenberg, has raised $438,346.57, according to his campaign.

If there is a God, she appears to be ticked off at Michelle Bachman.
