Checking in with the Wasilla Project

A team of filmmakers visited Sarah Palin's hometown to learn about her leadership style from those who knew her as mayor.

A team of filmmakers calling themselves the "Wasilla Project" visited Sarah Palin's hometown. They spoke with citizens, policymakers and people familiar with the V.P. candidate to try to get more information about her politics, religion and management style.

They've posted three videos on their site, and Salon is running them as well.

Here is a look at Sarah Palin as "the first Christian mayor" and the ways in which Palin mixed religion and politics.

Here, the filmmakers find that Sarah Palin, who calls herself a fiscal conservative, made poor economic decisions (and even used the mayor's office to help support her run for lieutenant governor).
