Topic: Dan Mongiardo vs. Jack Conway

Lt. Gov. Dan Mongiardo, who narrowly lost to retiring Republican Jim Bunning in the 2004 election, is running again and initially led his opponent, Attorney General (and race horse owner) Jack Conway, by significant margins. But recent polling has shown Conway, who is the party establishment’s preferred candidate, closing in. The primary will be held on May 18th, the same day the Kentucky Republican candidates face off.
