Director Albert Hughes tells Salon about his new "John Wick" prequel "The Continental." The director reflects on how he decides to depict violence in his projects from "Menace II Society" to "The Good Lord Bird" and shares why he prefers to either make it hyperrealistic or total fantasy. Plus, Hughes says that, even though he's been using a camera since he was 12, he never thought he and his brother Allen Hughes would become filmmakers. "Subconsciously in your mind you're never thinking, 'I'm going to be a director' 'cause you never see anybody that looks like you that's a director," he told Salon.
