Series
The Solomons receive a visit from their supreme commander, The Big Giant Head (guest William Shatner), on the one-hour season finale of 3rd Rock from the Sun (8 p.m., NBC). Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB) will not be airing
part two of "Graduation Day," the season finale. WB executives said Monday that the episode, which depicts high school students staging an armed assault on the 60-foot serpent formerly known as the mayor of Sunnydale, was pulled "out of respect and compassion" for the victims of the Littleton massacre. Instead, Tuesday night's episode will be a rerun of "Band Candy," with the finale tentatively set to air later in the summer. On the season finale of JAG (8 p.m., CBS), Harm gets another shot at nailing child killer Charlie Lynch (Erik Todd Dellums, who played Luther Mahoney on "Homicide"). Home Improvement (8 p.m., ABC) ends its run with a 90-minute episode in which the Taylors prepare to move as they reminisce about old times. Whatever. On the hour-long season finale of Just Shoot Me (9 p.m., NBC), Finch enters wedded bliss with a supermodel (guest Rebecca Romijn-Stamos). But you know it won't last. Felicity (9 p.m., WB) ends its season with our curly-topped heroine getting an unexpected invitation from Noel, which prompts a surprising reaction from Ben. Spin City (9:30 p.m., ABC) ends its season with the conclusion of a two-parter in which Mike is torn between Nikki and supermodel Heidi Klum. Hey, they can double-date with Spade and Romijn-Stamos! NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC) wraps up its season with the aftermath of last week's courthouse shooting, and I don't think I'm alone in asking, for cryin' out loud, hasn't Andy suffered enough?

Specials
Well, it finally happened. Train Wrecks (8 p.m., Fox) features footage of real-life passenger, freight and subway catastrophes at home and abroad -- presented in a somber and educational manner, I'm sure.
