Series

On Now and Again (9 p.m. Fri., CBS), a boy thinks Michael is a superhero after he witnesses him performing one of his feats of super strength. The cable series Good vs. Evil (9 p.m. Fri., Sci-Fi Channel) is a relaunch of the USA series "GvsE." New title, new network, same wiggy blend of action, fantasy and retro '70s attitude as dead duo McNeil (Richard Brooks) and Smythe (Clayton Rohner) kick Satanic ass in the name of the Man Upstairs. The new kids' series Caitlin's Way (9 p.m. Sat., Nickelodeon) stars Lindsay Felton as a troubled Philadelphia orphan who goes to live with her cousins on a Montana ranch. Joshua Jackson ("Dawson's Creek") hosts Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m. Sat., NBC), with music from 'N Sync. On King of the Hill (7:30 p.m. Sun., Fox), Peggy is duped in a health food business scam; Teri Garr provides the voice of her boss. Kirk Douglas guests on Touched by an Angel (8 p.m. Sun., CBS) as an elderly man who rediscovers his Judaism during a family crisis. On The X-Files (9 p.m. Sun., Fox), a prominent doctor is found dead under weird circumstances and Mulder and Scully suspect voodoo. As Christopher fights for life after last week's shooting, he has an out-of-body experience on The Sopranos (9 p.m. Sun., HBO). Michael Imperioli, who plays Christopher, wrote the episode. Bobby is taken hostage by a former client (Donnie Wahlberg) who has just been released from prison on The Practice (10 p.m. Sun., ABC). Rosie O'Donnell has a cameo. So what else is new?

Specials

Kathie Lee Gifford and her son Cody co-star in the new Disney movie Model Behavior (7 p.m. Sun., ABC). You have been warned. The new cable movie St. Patrick: The Irish Legend (7 p.m. Sun., Fox Family) -- as opposed to "St. Patrick: The Jewish Legend," I guess -- dramatizes the life of Ireland's patron saint. Patrick Bergin stars as his namesake; Malcolm McDowell plays (what else?) his evil nemesis, a British bishop. There are more worthy nominees than you can shake a stick at in the 6th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (8 p.m. Sun., TNT), in which actors choose the winners from among their peers. Sidney Poitier gets a lifetime achievement award. The new cable movie The Inspectors 2: A Shred of Evidence (8 p.m. Sun., Showtime) stars Louis Gossett Jr. and Jonathan Silverman as postal inspectors out to track down an identity thief. The documentary Raising the Mammoth (8 p.m. Sun., Discovery) charts the 1999 expedition to excavate a well-preserved 20,000-year-old woolly mammoth carcass from the frozen Siberian tundra. Jeff Bridges narrates. In a throwback to the disaster movies of yore, a commercial airliner has a bomb on board and Nowhere to Land (8 p.m. Sun., TBS). Jack Wagner, Christine Elise and James B. Sikking star in this new cable flick. Sherry Stringfield plays a busy New York book editor (clichi alert) who has to go back to Virginia to take care of her ol' senile dad (Jason Robards) in the new TV movie Going Home (9 p.m. Sun., CBS). Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young jaw about the old days and sing a few tunes in new editions of Legends (9 p.m. Sun., VH1) and Storytellers (10 p.m. Sun., VH1).
