TV Moms Week continues on Biography (8 p.m., A&E) with a profile of Diahann Carroll, the first African-American actress to star in a sitcom ("Julia"). Carter returns to work after the attack on a rerun of ER (10 p.m., NBC). 20/20 Downtown (10 p.m., ABC) reruns a report on prostitutes.

The Emmy nominations (8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT) are announced on the morning shows and E! In case you missed the first showing, there's an encore of When It Was a Game III (8 p.m., HBO), the latest in the series of baseball documentaries chronicling the glory days of the sport. This one looks at the 1960s.
