Dawson's Creek (8 p.m., WB) begins its fourth season with Joey and Pacey facing the music. The long-awaited assassination attempt cliffhanger gets resolved on the two-hour season opener of The West Wing (9 p.m., NBC). On the season premiere of Felicity (9 p.m., WB), our girl abandons her plans to room with Elena and Julie and instead rents a Brooklyn dump for herself and Ben. The Drew Carey Show (9 p.m., ABC) kicks off season six, while Norm (9:30 p.m., ABC) surprisingly makes it to season three. American Masters (10 p.m., PBS, check local times) presents "Mailer on Mailer," a 90-minute autobiography of the combustible writer.
