She received her MFA from the Creative Writing Program at New York University, has been a senior editor at The Paris Review and has contributed to numerous magazines including GQ, Vogue, Bomb, Bookforum, and Spin. In her debut novel "Use Me" (William, Morrow & Co.), a collection of ten related stories, she explores the relationships between friends and family, betrayal and loyalty.
