Bonus scene: Arthur explains why he dislikes Alvin's performance on the Chipmunks' Christmas song. Ally McBeal (9 p.m., Fox) reruns another Santa-centric episode from a Christmas past -- Georgia and John are on opposite sides of a case involving a department store's dismissal of its Santa Claus. Jane Pauley interviews Janet Reno on Dateline NBC (9 p.m., NBC). On a memorable rerun of Everybody Loves Raymond (9 p.m., CBS), the Barones and Debra's parents gather for a holiday photo session. On Roswell (9 p.m., WB), Max is haunted by the ghost of a dead man he could have saved, but didn't for fear of being found out. Rachel Dratch of "Saturday Night Live" guests as a mentally challenged woman who starts a fire while cooking on Third Watch (10 p.m., NBC).

The 1996 adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma (9 p.m., Lifetime) has its network premiere. Gwyneth Paltrow plays everyone's favorite busybody.
