Michael McClure is a world-renowned beat poet and playwright. He overcame censorship laws with his controversial play "The Beard," received an Obie Award for "Josephine the Mouse Singer" and also co-wrote the Janis Joplin hit "Mercedes Benz." He often performs his poetry with piano improvisation by the Doors' keyboardist and composer Ray Manzarek. "Rain Mirror" is his latest book of poetry.
