Danger Mouse and Murs, who teamed up last year with "To a Black Boy" (featured here on Audiofile), a track protesting the unjust imprisonment of Marcus Dixon, are back with this contribution to Waxploitation's "Genocide in Sudan" benefit compilation. Over an intricate beat largely formed of samples of African (Sudanese?) music, Murs raps angrily about the way the Sudanese genocide has been largely ignored, while comparatively minor American tragedies provoke bouts of national mourning.
