This is a remix of a track from the debut record by Clearlake, a Brit-pop band of the hypermelodic, hyperemotive variety. And behind all the lovely tinkling sound and big Phil Spector drums the melody's still the thing here, as singer Jason Pegg, sounding very British in that permanent-head-cold kind of way, belts out a gorgeous, classic pop melody that twists merrily from hook to hook.
