Daily Download: "Weekends," the Perishers

Sweden's the Perishers are fast-rising stars, playing emotive rock in the vein of Coldplay or Keane. Part of the band's appeal, though, is its ability to rein in the grandiose impulses of that style of arena mush, and turn out a modest, gorgeous song like "Weekends." Also available for free download is a live version of "Pills," another standout track from their new "Let There Be Morning," performed here with Sarah McLachlan (download here).
