The news that CBGB's is closing (a matter of indifference to me as someone who has only experienced the club as a fleabag tourist attraction and venue for bad music, but understandably emotional for those who were around for the glory days) makes this a good time to post Amy Rigby's "Dancing With Joey Ramone," a suitably sloppy, lo-fi rocker about an imagined night on the dancefloor with the patron saint of the club from her typically tough and witty new record, "Little Fugitive."

Remember the glory days of the imminently closing CBGB's with a song about "Dancing With Joey Ramone"
