There's a strange and subtle artfulness to this song, from American Analog Set's sixth album, "Set Free." It's fairly straightforward, sweet indie pop, but so restrained, so consummately underplayed, so loath to call attention to itself, and with a vocal so completely uninflected that it's almost a cipher, a blank song, which is an intriguing thing to listen to.
