The music made by the enigmatic Harlem-based collective the No Neck Blues Band often sounds like the work of a late night pot-fueled dorm room jam band of solemn youths -- interminable, emotionally opaque self-serious mumbo jumbo. But sometimes, without sounding all that different (and really, even those late-night college jams can have their moments, if you're in the right mind-set), they turn out something really mesmerizing, like this darkly creepy, droning "The Doon," from their new album "Qvaris."
