Ambulance Ltd. are rock 'n' roll plunderers, borrowing liberally from many eras with an eclecticism I would find bothersome if they weren't so consistently skillful at it, so immune to whatever happens to be hip right now and also ultimately so able to make all of their stylistically diverse songs cohere into a body of work that feels of a piece. Their debut full-lenth, "LP," has steadily grown on me since its release. Now, to tide us over until their second record later this year, the band is releasing an EP with two new songs and some rarities, including this characteristically relaxed and casual folk rock song.
