We scoffed a little when Joseph Prows wrote in about this clip, "I watch this several times each night just before going to sleep. It makes me so happy and calm." Joseph, we cackled, high-fiving each other, it's an ad for Sony, for Allah's sake. What's wrong with you!? And then we watched it, and the image of San Francisco being overtaken by 250,000 colored rubber balls, set to Josi Gonzales' plaintive "Heartbeats," softened our lacquered, bug-like exteriors (FYI: Here's a lovely, free Gonzales song on Audiofile). We've watched it about 20 times since then. It pains us a little to run an ad without skewering it, but this is too pretty to ignore, and the hardcore among you can take note: The last 10 seconds flash a brand, so avert your eyes from the pretty picture. As Joseph writes, "It's way better than this renal physiology that I'm supposed to be studying." We thought the exact damn thing.
