This dopily named track is the opener from instrumental band Saxon Shore's new "The Exquisite Death of Saxon Shore," on which they unselfconsciously aim for the Big and the Epic -- aided by Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev), the king of indie gloss -- while sounding kind of like a squarer version of M83. There's nothing new here, but they certainly know their business, achieving the requisite sense of grandeur and sweep. Also available for free download at their MySpace page is "April 14," from the band's recent EP "Luck Will Not Save Us From a Jackpot of Nothing," a more electronic track that builds from contentment up to elation and back again.
