Morning Briefing:
Kidman-Urban nuptials made official: Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban arrived in Sydney on Sunday night and finally did away with pretending their wedding -- scheduled for this weekend -- was just a gossip magazine rumor. "We are very happy to be back in Australia," the couple said in a statement. "We have come home to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends." Kidman celebrated her 39th birthday on Tuesday by sending a case of beer out to the paparazzi staked out in front of her harborside house; earlier in the day, the photogs had sung her a happy birthday through the front gate intercom. And despite the recent rumors that she's carrying a baby -- Star still insists "Nicole has to be pregnant!" -- her rep says it ain't true: "She's not pregnant. Believe me on this one: She is religious, and that would never do." (Rush & Molloy, Star, People)

Madonna tones it down for dad? Madonna's ongoing "Confessions" tour rolled into Chicago last week, and apparently there was a very special guest in the audience at the Thursday night show -- her dad, Silvio "Tony" Ciccone. According to audience members, she cleaned up her act a bit for him, cutting down on the swearing and dropping the lyrics "Just go to Texas and suck George Bush's dick" from her song "I Love New York." "She gave the crowd the finger only one time and never once said the f-word," a source who has also seen earlier shows tells the Scoop. "At one point, she actually asked the audience to applaud extra loud for her so that her dad would know she made something of herself. The crowd went wild." (The Scoop)
