This is one of the standout tracks from master hip-hop producer J. Dilla's posthumous (and so-not-very-unexpectedly quite uneven) release, "The Shining." Rapper Pharoahe Monche turns in a decent performance, bolstered by plenty of sweet background vocals, but it's Dilla's beat that shines: orchestral but simple, nostalgic but not cutesy and full of, well, love.
