Morning Briefing:
Photos of the happy couple: See what People reportedly paid $1 million for: Photos from Anna Nicole Smith's wedding-esque commitment ceremony with Howard K. Stern -- complete with an exchange of rings, a white veil and a Baptist minister, but without the legal documents to make it real -- are up on the magazine's Web site. The photo of Stern kissing the faux bride seems especially noteworthy, somehow. (People)

Brad wants brood: In an interview with London's Daily Mail, Brad Pitt says he wants to keep expanding his family with Angelina Jolie, as fast as possible. "I'm not joking around. I have three kids now and next year I'll have six. Nine. We're looking for a soccer team. I want to compete in the next World Cup." (New Zealand Herald)

L.A. Times publisher out: The drama continues at the Los Angeles Times, as publisher Jeffrey M. Johnson was forced out on Thursday and the Tribune Co., which owns the paper, appointed David Hiller to fill the role. Johnson was ousted over refusing to make job cuts requested by the Tribune. At the same time, editor Dean Baquet, who also stood up to the Tribune over the cuts and had said he would leave if Johnson was fired, has decided he'll be staying on. Times political reporter Mark Barabak told the Washington Post that "the mood is grim" at the paper. (Huffington Post, Los Angeles Times, Deadline Hollywood, Washington Post)
