The first episode of CBS’s “Jericho” showed promise. But can you really go wrong with mushroom clouds and panicking townsfolk? Apparently so, as evidenced by this teeth-grittingly awful scene from the third episode. The black-spray-painted styrofoam rocks are a nice touch, sure, but nothing’s better than a jubilant crowd of smudgy-faced extras!
