A song for Ted Haggard

While you wait for returns, here's some election night music to tap your toes to

Less than two hours before the polls start to close in Kentucky and Indiana, How the World Works will abandon all pretense at attempting to draw connections between globalization and the U.S. midterm elections. Instead, how about a little election night music from Paul Hipp?

It's a super-catchy little ditty about the woes of Ted Haggard. The title, "Meth and Man Ass," will probably keep it off the Billboard charts, but I guarantee, the tune will stick in your head. And you can hum the lyrics to yourself while you contemplate the sanctimony and hypocrisy that endlessly swirls around American political discourse.

A taste:

I'm looking for someone to turn the other cheek
I'll go on Larry King and tell him, Larry, I was weak
Deliver me from evil and deliver me from greed
Deliver me a hot stud and a couple grams of speed
