Rick Santorum, widely expected to lose badly today to Democratic challenger Bob Casey Jr., just told MSNBC's Tucker Carlson that the mainstream media has unfairly "pigeonholed" him as a conservative ideologue. "I thought you were a conservative ideologue," Carlson protested. "I don't consider myself a conservative ideologue," Santorum responded.
