The Drudge Report seems particularly alarmed by this video that went up last week, calling it "provocative" and describing it as "showing male soldiers in Iraq aggressively duct-taping a female soldier to a pole!" Drudge also quotes a "top Pentagon source" who "expressed concern" saying: "Excuse me, I am not laughing."
Maybe we're missing something here, and maybe our more exercisable sisters will see something more nefarious. But without knowing more, we just see some a woman giggling while being taped up by her fellow soldiers. One soldier tickles her, she laughs. They're rough-housing. So what? Maybe we've just seen so many grim clips up coming out of Iraq that are genuinely alarming, but this seems pretty harmless.
