Under Byen are a Danish band that have been getting some recent attention in the U.S. thanks in part to the enthusiastic support of music blog giant Stereogum. Henriette Sennenvalt's vocal similarities to Björk are striking and sometimes distracting, but she's an engaging singer nonetheless, and the band has a polished, highly developed sound that deftly mixes acoustic instruments with electronics.
