With the Red Sox signing Japanese pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka last week to a $103.1 million contract the Yankees are feverishly scouring the world to upstage their arch rival. This video was taken by a Yankee scout on special assignment on that "Lost" island. If the team can negotiate one of those elusive work visas from "The Others," this rig will be competing with the much-sweatier Jason Giambi for the D.H. spot in spring training. Then again, this may just be daily footage from the latest Kevin Costner baseball movie.
