John Kerry will announce today that he is not seeking the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination, the Boston Globe reports. Citing unidentified Kerry "associates," the Globe says the harsh reaction to Kerry's "botched joke" about Iraq on the eve of the midterm elections showed Kerry that his fellow Democrats felt "extreme skepticism" about his making a repeat run for the White House.
