Miami's the Postmarks recently released a debut album of humble and heartfelt classic pop, reminiscent of an indie Burt Bacharach or Jimmy Webb. The band's MySpace page points out, accurately I think, that the trio makes music perfect for "red wine and friends ... rainy days and starry nights," which is to say music perfect for Valentine's Day. Take a listen to the bite-size "My Little Heart," which toddles up to the line between cute and cutesy but never steps over. Small and sweet, it's like a heart-shaped chocolate in song.
