After delivering what was seen as a lukewarm endorsement of Alberto Gonzales Monday, the White House is throwing its arms around its embattled attorney general today. As the Associated Press reports, the president offered his support to Gonzales in a phone call this morning -- the first time they've talked in a week -- and White House spokeswoman Dana Perino is denying a report that the White House is looking for a new attorney general.
