Duluth, Minnesota's Low were prime progenitors of the slowcore movement, favoring creeping tempos and minimalist arrangements. Unlike too many other similarly inclined bands, Low's music is never boring and often quite beautiful. "Murderer" comes from the band's new "Drums and Guns" album and, in its own eerie, disquieting way, sounds like it belongs in an indie version of a film noir.
