Memo to Dan Bartlett: The next time George W. Bush falls ill after meeting with Vladimir Putin, don't suggest that the president thinks it might have been "something he ate." The soon-to-be-former White House counselor is backtracking now, saying that the president is feeling better and claiming that it was Bartlett, not Bush, who suggested that whatever he ate might have been the cause of what ailed him.
At least he didn't choke on a pretzel
