In a unanimous order, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has just denied Scooter Libby's request to remain free on bail while he appeals his conviction. The result: The Federal Bureau of Prisons is now awaiting the arrival of Inmate No. 28301-016, and the rest of us should know pretty soon now what George W. Bush is or isn't going to do about it.
