Yeah, but did he drive a Winnebago there?

Giuliani lays claim to 9/11.

Earlier this week, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney seemed to equate his sons' service to the country -- one of them is campaigning through Iowa for him in an RV -- to that being performed by the men and women now serving in the armed forces in Iraq.

Not to be outdone, GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani is now equating his role in the aftermath of 9/11 to that performed by the firefighters, police officers and construction workers who spent months digging through the toxic rubble there.

"I was at Ground Zero as often [as], if not more than, most of the workers," Giuliani told reporters in Ohio Thursday. "I was there working with them. I was exposed to exactly the same things they were exposed to. So in that sense, I'm one of them."

The response from one NYPD union official: No, you're not.
