If you were ever curious about that provocatively titled "Snakes on a Plane" (Friday at 8 p.m. EDT on HBO), this may be the perfect night to watch it. Go get a cold six-pack, make a big bowl of buttery popcorn and turn your brain to "low expectations" mode. Then bask in the glory of Samuel L. Jackson, a bunch of motherfucking snakes, a motherfucking plane and lots of people saying "motherfucker" over and over again. How was this movie not a hit?

On Friday, PBS's "Exposé: America's Investigative Reports" airs "A Sea of Trouble" (check local listings), which follows a Seattle Post-Intelligencer investigation into oil-tanker safety in the Pacific Northwest indicating that another Exxon Valdez is not out of the question. On Saturday and Sunday nights, tennis lovers will be glued to the third and fourth rounds of the Men's and Women's U.S. Open, which airs at 7 p.m. EDT both nights on USA. On Sunday night, the fourth season finale of "Entourage" airs at 10 p.m. EDT, while "Flight of the Conchords" wraps up its first season at 10:30 p.m. EDT, both on HBO.
