The documentary "Autism Every Day" (8 p.m. EDT on Sundance) follows the lives of eight autistic children and their families for 24 hours, and the results are haunting: These kids have trouble eating, it takes years to teach them to get dressed, toilet training is incredibly difficult, and many of them stay up all night. "A bad day is a bad day and a good day is a bad day waiting to happen," says one parent. This is the most brutal look at autism you'll ever see, but considering the prevalence of the disease, it's important that we're all aware of what an enormous challenge the parents of these kids face.

Naughty Natalie helps to evict a houseguest on "Big Brother 9" (8 p.m. EDT on CBS), then the third season of "Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures" (8 p.m. on PBS, check listings) begins, followed by "Caring for Your Parents," which profiles five families facing the challenges of taking care of elderly parents (9 p.m. on PBS, check listings). The seventh season of "Ultimate Fighter" airs at 10 p.m. on Spike.
