Well, give the Obama and Clinton campaigns one thing: When they put their heads together, they sure can lay it on thick.

The Obama campaign has just e-mailed reporters with the details of one of the first joint appearances planned for the former rivals. The message of the event, which will be held Friday, is anything but subtle.

Officially termed a "Unite for Change" rally, the event will take place in Unity, N.H., where the two candidates tied in the Democratic primary held earlier this year; each received 107 votes in Unity.
