Politico's Daniel W. Reilly has an interesting item today on what he calls "the latest sign of deteriorating relations between congressional Republicans and the White House." House Minority Leader John Boehner, Reilly reports, says that he had to cancel a planned meeting of House Republicans because the Bush administration "refused" to send someone to brief them on the economy, and the government's response.

"I and all of my colleagues are concerned about the lack of information and the lack of consultation that has occurred," Boehner said.
