With the House having passed its version of the Democratic stimulus package Wednesday night, all eyes now turn to the Senate, which will vote next. Liberal groups that support the stimulus are ready, and they're starting to put pressure on the Republican senators who might be persuaded to support the measure.

A coalition of organizations that includes Americans United for Change, MoveOn.org Political Action, AFSCME and SEIU released a series of ads Thursday morning targeting Republicans in the Senate. They've focused on five senators who are either moderates or potentially vulnerable or both: Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine, Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Charles Grassley of Iowa. They're obviously looking to make those senators think hard about the political price they might have to pay for opposing the stimulus.

Below, you can watch the national version of the ad, as well as one of the targeted versions, this one aimed at Collins and Snowe.
