Gibbs responds to Bush: "we won"

The press secretary hits back at the former president's criticism of the Obama administration

Former President George W. Bush only just came out with his first public criticism of his successor, but the White House had a simple response waiting for him.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about Bush's indirect critique of President Obama's policies, especially his plan to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, during his regular press briefing on Thursday. He responded:

I think we've had a debate about -- about individual policies. We had that debate in particular. We kept score last November and we won.
